Alliance Kindja Bahati is a Founder and Ceo of Kindja Collection.
The 26-year-old was born in the Congo / Bukavu and when she was 4 years old, her whole family flew to Uganda due to the civil war. Alliance and her family left everything behind and settled as refugees for 10 years in Kampala/Uganda. 


Alliance dreams of a world where everyone feels beautiful, strong and confident in whatever they wear.


Alliance knows that fashion has the power to change social norms and that fashion has a very big role to play in how people see themselves. She wants to use her story and her designs to uplift everyone around the globe to stay true to their dreams.  

Alliance’s World is set in an environment infused with bright colours and distinct styling.
I consider the relationship between power and beauty for women, especially dark skin black women being told to shrink themselves for others' comfortability.
Alliance’s World is a bold refusal of that, instead, it's an invitation to revel in ones’ beauty and take up space.
